For fans of Games, series and animes
Music has the power to inspire and transform people, especially when you watch a concert by a band that influences you. This was the beginning of the career of drummer Caio Gaona who, upon giving an Angra performance in 2004, decided that he would dedicate his life to art. The rest is history. Not only did the 29-year-old young musician from São Paulo participated in bands like Triscore, he also became a music teacher. In 2019, he was invited to play alongside one of the Brazilian heavy metal legends, bassist Luis Mairutti.
In his free time, Caio takes the opportunity to work on versions of his favorite soundtracks: those from games and animes. His versions of the Stars Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy themes, for example, received rave reviews, including from the creators of the original Mortal Kombat (Ed Boon), Batman (Christopher Drake) and Thor and Iron Man (Bryan Tyler) soundtracks ).
The role of music for Caio goes beyond performing skills, it is like therapy to cure the most diverse possible anxieties. For him, drumsticks are also like a medicine to fight depression and anxiety, illnesses he has been dealing with for some years.
